A B O U T

I am a high school freshman with an interest in economics. This is where I take economic theory seriously on its own terms. This is about arguments . Whether they make sense , whether they are valid . Not politics .

Much of what is presented as settled in economics, on closer inspection, is less settled than it appears. I search for points of tension in the literature, anomalous results, breakdowns between theory and evidence, and assumptions that do not stand up to empirical scrutiny, and speculate about what this implies for the structure of the theory itself.

I try to work directly with primary sources, academic papers rather than secondary interpretations when possible. The objective is to be presented with arguments in their natural state, prior to their having been polished into textbook presentations or simplified stories of consensus.

I do not have credentials. Everything here stands or falls on the quality of the reasoning, which you are welcome to dispute.

My articles are here.
